In the world we are today, marriage is no longer what people, especially men get into without having some second thoughts as to who they want to marry. Marriage is not like a game that you can easily quit at any time. Marriage is a lifetime commitment and devotion to each other. But some ladies do not know that there are some things they must not do, if they want their man to marry them. 

When it comes to the issue of getting married to a woman, most men take their time in concluding if the woman is right or wrong for them.

A man can be dating a woman for such a long time. Their relationship is going smooth but before the man puts a ring on the finger of the woman, he must have thought deeply and come to the conclusion that the woman is the right for him. The truth is that a man can date any woman but when it comes to marriage, they are selective. Dating is quite different from marriage - it's a lifetime journey.

Believe me, every man is more concerned about a woman’s character and qualities before thinking of getting married to her. So, no matter how beautiful and pretty a woman is, if she doesn’t possess the right qualities m, she probably might not get the right man to marry her.

As a woman, there are some things you have to avoid if you really want your man to marry you. If you want your relationship to move on to the next level, that is from ‘dating’ to ‘marriage’, you need to avoid these things :

#1. Don't be "over-dependent" on him

Most women in relationship believe the common saying -  "He is the man and should provide all my needs".  This belief is so wrong. The fact that he is the man does not mean he has to cater for all of your needs. Dear ladies, your relationship is not a business opportunity. 

Been over-dependent, shows that you cannot meet up your needs without him. It shows that you are not even capable of providing your own personal needs let alone the needs of the family.

Men hate it when a woman is so much depending on them. It tells a man that you are lazy and cannot find ways of meeting up  your needs by yourself.

If you want him to marry you, learn to work and provide your needs yourself. In doing so, you won’t have to keep begging the man to provide your needs. You will also command great respect from the man.

#2. Don't disrespect him, for any reason 

Every man has his own rules and regulations and it’s the desire of every man that these rules are respected. If he's a type that sets boundaries, do well to respect them. If there are times he needs some privacy, respect that too. 

No man likes it when they're disrespected. In his presence of absence, all they desire is respect. Let his people know he has someone who respects him if nobody does.

In doing so, you are telling him how valued he is to you.

#3. Don't ever disappoint him

The kind of person he has known you for, that made you worthy for him to woo, don't change it. It's disappointment.

I really wonder why some women, if after they surely know that a man is interested in them, begin to behave fakery. Then after some time, they come back to their true personality.

If he has placed a complete trust on you, do well not to fail him. In doing so, he can boldly tell his friends and families how disciplined you are.

#4. Don't pressurise him to marry you

The fact that you want him to marry you does not mean you will have to force him. If you are desperate, he will know and men don’t like desperate women.

He might not want to marry you if you keep putting pressure on him, especially in a rude way. He could easily change his mind.

Do the best you can, give him some space and give him some polite reminders about your marriage. You will be surprised to see him kneel before you one day with a golden ring on his hands for you.

#5. Don't be a talkative in his presence

Relationships always encounter some problems along the way. And the reaction of the woman will tell if that relationship can still continue or not.

If there is a problem between you and him, always listen to the man first, don’t shout. After sometime when the situation is calm, you can now speak with a low and calm voice. He will listen to you. 

Note that, no man would want to marry a ‘ranting’ woman.

#6. Don't let him notice your love for money

Even after he marry you, never let your man know how much your love for money is. Some women get it wrong when they pursue men with money, without considering his love.

If you want your man to marry you, show him that his love and commitment is more important to you than the money.

If you are only thinking about what comes out from his pocket, then you are wrong. He might not marry you.

#7. Don't argue with him,  especially in public

Never make the mistake to argue with him whenever he's mad at you. You should not argue with him even if you're also boiling. Calm yourself down. 

I don't even know what is wrong with some men when they shout at someone and expect the person to keep quiet. Yeah, that true. But you have to accept your fate and do what they like since you still want him to marry you. Men love it when their woman calms while they're boiling.
